Account Clerk

Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.- Responsible on daily accounting entries.- Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transaction.- Maintains accounting records by making copies filing documents.- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payment are accounted for and properly posted.- Verify discrepancies by and resolve client's billing issues.- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status- Account reportingQualifications for Account Clerk- Minimum diploma/degree with at least 2 years working experience is required.- Experience in full set of accounts (preferred).- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and computer literate.- Hand-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software(SAGE software will be an added advantage).- Understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.- Language requirement : English and Bahasa Malaysia (write and speak).Working Hours: 9.00 a.m - 6.00 p.m (Monday to Friday)Working Location: Batu Maung, PenangEducation: Diploma/DegreeExperience: Account Clerk (Full Set of Account): 2 years**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Flexible schedule- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotionSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Yearly bonus**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)**Experience**:- Account Clerk: 2 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)- Bahasa (preferred)Ability to Commute:- Bayan Lepas (preferred)Ability to Relocate:- Bayan Lepas: Relocate before starting work (preferred)Expected Start Date: 11/09/2023
