Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Accountant to join our team at MYEG Services Berhad in George Town, Penang, MY. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits and tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in accounting
- Strong attention to detail
- Innovative mindset
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
