Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Perodua is seeking a motivated and resilient Accounts Payable professional to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. This is a part-time entry-level position with a requirement of at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Motivated and resilient personality traits
- Strong people management skills
