Job Summary Drives the development, maintenance and improvement of a portfolio of business applications, managing relationships with business and outsourcing partners to address application performance issues and drive service improvement.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities Manage the service delivery of respective applications according to Service Level Agreements and address any gaps with the business. Report application service performance to the business, taking action where necessary to address application performance issues. Work with their IT Infrastructure counterpart in case of any infrastructure related issues. Ensure compliance with IT application, development and maintenance service management governance standards and policies and engage and represent IT in major incident management and problem management. Lead a team of specialists to develop and implement IT business processes and manage performance across all activities, in order to achieve business objectives and continuously improve performance. Manage internal and external suppliers as required through any application development, delivery and ongoing maintenance. Job Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or application delivery. In-depth understanding of software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are the heart & soul of Zurich!
