Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in functions such as performing wiring, component installation, kit assembly, on robotic systems being assembled.
Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to specifications.
Contribute to developing techniques, processes, and practices that advance the organization's effectiveness.
May lead major project initiatives and act as group leader.
Expected to mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior staff members.
Work as part of a team to resolve the most complex problems.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Competencies:
Mechanical or Electrical knowledge with 3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong electrical & mechanical skills
Able to read measurement tools, perform I/O check and troubleshooting
Assembly experience (electrical/mechanical)
Ability to read mechanical part/assembly drawings, pneumatic schematics, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Semiconductor Equipment and/or cleanroom experience a plus
Experience with industrial robots a plus
Problem solving mind-set.
