Job Functions in Brief: Manages and develops staff (department size of 45-50 FTE) while providing inspired leadership to all team leaders and subordinates. Provides regular updates to departmental head and assist in cascading any enforcement from upper management. Proactive in updating the Team Head and upper management on staff related feedback and concerns.Actively involves in the daily operations of the KL Back Office team including resource planning, stakeholders management and etc.Ensures operational service levels are met for both internal and external stakeholders. Act as point of reference for escalations regarding operational matters or staff concerns. Perform regular engagement with operational team leaders and maintain staff morale. Liaise with internal stakeholders on issue resolutions and efficiency improvements. Assist in the timely implementation of staff appraisals and perform ongoing reviews of staff KPIs.Manage the recruitment and training of staff. Identify, discuss and implement strategies to improve overall business process and customer experienceRegular engagement with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing service delivery and process improvementsCoordinate and manage Back Office operations projects and initiatives, drive business migrations if anyUndertakes continual professional development to ensure compliance with ASX requirements. Requirements: Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)A Chartered Accountant qualification would be preferredA recognized Degree in Business/ Accounting/ Finance/ Management or relevant professional qualifications would be preferred3-5 years' experience in a managing a team size of >30 FTE.Strong leadership skills is essentialKeen interest in stockbroking and financial investmentsCustomer focused with great interpersonal skillsKeen and willing to learn about the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)Positive attitude and great team spiritInternet savvyAbility to think on your feet and multitaskApplicant should be Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence statusMust be willing to work 100% from office.Must be willing to work on Malaysia Public Holidays and follow Australia business hours. Your working hours could start as early as 6am MYT.Other skills (desired but not essential): Experience in equity or futures marketExperience with Microsoft Office suite of products
