The Payroll KnowledgeBase Specialist will be the key liaison between the Payroll team and the Central KnowledgeBase team, ensuring that payroll-related knowledge is effectively structured, stored, and maintained for maximum accessibility and utility.
This role involves in-depth work with tools like KnowledgeBase 360 and SharePoint to organize information, build standard operating procedures (SOPs), and develop taxonomies that facilitate easy reference and cross-country comparisons.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes and knowledge management systems. Roles and Responsibilities: KnowledgeBase Development and Management Collaborate with the Central KnowledgeBase team to ensure alignment with company-wide knowledge management structures.
Organize payroll knowledge into structured, efficient systems using tools such as KnowledgeBase 360 and SharePoint.
Ensure information is easily accessible and comparable across countries, adhering to the taxonomy standards provided by the central team. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Guide the creation, documentation, and structuring of payroll SOPs to ensure consistency and usability.
Implement best practices for taxonomy management to enable clear referencing and cross-country alignment.
Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in payroll processes or regulations. Systems Expertise and Support Gain a deep understanding of KnowledgeBase 360 and SharePoint systems, including their capabilities and limitations.
Provide insights and recommendations to the Payroll team on optimal use of these tools.
Train and support team members on accessing and navigating the knowledge systems effectively. Cross-Team Collaboration Act as the bridge between the Payroll team and Central KnowledgeBase team to ensure mutual understanding of requirements and deliverables.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in documentation and address them proactively.
Facilitate the smooth integration of country-specific and global payroll knowledge into centralized systems. Continuous Improvement Evaluate the effectiveness of current knowledge management processes and propose improvements.
Stay updated on advancements in knowledge management tools and techniques to enhance efficiency.
Champion the use of the KnowledgeBase within the Payroll team, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in payroll operations or knowledge management, with exposure to both areas.
Proficient in KnowledgeBase 360, SharePoint, or similar knowledge management tools.
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse teams.
Familiarity with taxonomy design and knowledge structuring for ease of reference.
Experience in creating and maintaining SOPs and other operational documentation. Working Conditions: Remote or hybrid working environment, depending on location.
