Job Summary: CWM Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive - Contract to support the management of contracts related to sewer and water treatment engineering projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Head of Project (HOP) to ensure the effective delivery of all contractual obligations, manage project timelines, and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation, review, and management of contracts, agreements, and legal documentation related to sewer and water treatment engineering projects.Coordinate and communicate with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and project execution.Monitor project progress to ensure all contractual obligations are met within the agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget.Assist in the negotiation of contract terms, pricing, and variations in collaboration with the Contract Manager.Maintain contract records and documentation, ensuring that all contracts are properly stored, updated, and accessible.Track and report on contract performance metrics, identifying areas of improvement or potential risks.Provide support in resolving any contractual disputes or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with industry standards, government regulations, and company policies throughout the project.Support the review of bids, proposals, and tender submissions in alignment with project goals and contract specifications.Collaborate with legal and financial teams to ensure accurate billing, payments, and contract amendments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveyor, or a related field.5+ years of experience in contract management, project management, or a related role, preferably in the sewer and water treatment industry.Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts (such as FIDIC, JKR, PAM or IEM), and industry-specific regulations.Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.Proficient in contract management software and project management tools.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with risk management and project scheduling in an engineering context.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience in sewer and water treatment engineering or infrastructure projects.Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability practices related to water treatment.Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., MISM, MRISC) are a plus.
