Assistant Manager - Sustainability (Head Office, Kl)

Job Description Assist in the implementation of effective sustainability governance structure across the Company including sustainability-related framework, policy, and procedures.Assist in developing of Sustainability Blueprint in line with the Company's business strategy and vision, inclusive of stakeholder prioritization and materiality assessment.Provide timely update to the superiors on sustainability-related risks & opportunities and sustainability performance.Assist in implementing procedures in line with sustainability-related regulations, reporting and disclosure requirements to meet standards and legal obligations in relation to BURSA, TCFD, SASB, GRI, BNM, MAS etc.Engage in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting on current and emerging sustainability risks, with a focus on managing climate risks and opportunities.Assist in effective integration of sustainability risks into the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) such as ICAAP (Malaysia) and ORSA (Singapore).Assist in managing the Company's Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions based on recognized standards, inclusive of the finance emissions.Identify, communicate, and monitor climate-related risks and opportunities and provide timely updates to the superiors.Assist in conducting climate scenario analysis and climate risk stress testing.Engage with internal stakeholders to promote adoption of sustainability and climate risk management, and capacity building.Promote sustainability culture and drive sustainability awareness and appreciation within the Company. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree holder or equivalent.More than 3 years work experience in sustainability/climate related role within a financial institutionPreferably with experience in sustainability / climate risk management
