Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Duties and Responsibilities:



-To carry out taking-off quantities.


-To assist in the preparation and submission of tenders.


-To assist the QS in preparing project budgets.


-To assist the QS in the preparation of Materials Schedule.


-To measure work done at site and prepare interim claims.


-To assist the planning Sub-Department to prepare reports for various projects.


-To carry out the preparation and submission of Contractual Claims, Variation, etc.


-To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the Superior.

; Requirements:- Requirements:



-Possess Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveying/Diploma in Building Technology or Diploma/Certificate in other related disciplines.


-Science graduates who are keen to pursue a career in quantity surveying can also be considered.


-3 – 5 years' working experience preferably from a  building and construction industry in a similar position.


-Fresh graduate are encourage to apply


-Conversant in bilingual languages, namely English and Bahasa Malaysia.


-Have good interpersonal and communication skills with strong inclination towards quality management practices.


-Must be a team player, committed and result-oriented.


-Must have the ability and personality to drive and motivate team to achieve common goals.


-Exposure in turnkey projects will be an added advantage.


-Preferably to be computer literate and familiar with MS Office Applications.
