We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role You'll be responsible for achieving and exceeding the value and volume sales and 4P objectives through an efficient and effective sales force within the budget, time and policy parameters. Distribution to be driven in-line with Must Stock Lists (MSLs).
Your responsibilities Lead central sales team to achieve IP sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives. Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories. Conduct Field work with Product Specialist visitation to ensure timely execution of all the activities as per trade marketing guidelines, proper coverage of the team as per the coverage plan and detailing work is carried out as planned. Obtaining the necessary approvals and negotiate with the Sales Manager for promotion support, trade execution, and investment for key customers. Evaluate at regular intervals the services rendered, coverage and distribution gains, and financial status of IP central customers. Ensure the timely submission of customer claims, the timely delivery of stocks, and proper service from distributor to customers. The experience we're looking for Proven track record in Independent Pharmacy channel (FMCG) Minimum 4 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Marketing Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or similar qualification Additional functional experience is an advantage Highly analytical and numerate The skills for success Field sales, Field sales management, Shopper Insights, Category Analysis, Influencing, Consultative Selling, Channel strategy, Perform product planning, Business acumen, Sales negotiation, P&L Management, Strategy Execution, Operational Excellence.
