Job Summary: The Assistant Sales Manager (Trade Development) supports the Sales Manager in driving sales growth and market penetration by developing and managing trade relationships by region. This role involves coordinating with various departments, analyzing market trends, and implementing strategies to enhance product visibility and distribution. This position require to work closely with distributor and salesforce to achieve sales revenue.
RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Trade Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade partners, distributors, and retailers to promote product lines and maximize sales.Channel Development: Assist in developing and executing sales strategies and promotional plans in term of distribution and merchandisingSales Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports to track performance against targets, providing insights for strategic decisions.Sales Forecasting: Assist in developing accurate sales forecasts and budgets based on market analysis and historical data to inform strategic planning.Promotional Planning: Collaborate in creating and implementing promotional campaigns tailored for trade partners, ensuring alignment with overall sales goals.Inventory Management: Work with distributor pertaining to inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade partners and region, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.Problem Resolution: Address any issues or challenges faced by trade partners or distributors promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive relationship and smooth operations.Market Intelligence: Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for trade development.REQUIREMENTS:-
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a related field. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, EnglishAt least min 4 years of experience in sales, trade development, or a related role.Applicants must be willing to work in Rawang Intergrated Industrial Park.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with trade partner and distributor managementAnalytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience in FMCG and retail industryExcellent in using MS ExcelFull-Time position(s) available.
