About the roleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. As the BIM Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation and development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across our civil and structural engineering projects. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to make a significant impact in a growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing BIM strategies, standards, and protocols to ensure consistent and effective BIM practices across projects
Providing technical leadership and support to project teams in the use of BIM software and tools
Coordinating and overseeing the creation, management, and integration of BIM models and data
Collaborating with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve BIM-related issues
Conducting training and workshops to upskill the team on BIM best practices and emerging technologies
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM and evaluating their potential application within the organisation
Continuously improving BIM processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
What we're looking for
A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a BIM management or senior BIM coordination role, preferably within the civil/structural engineering industry
Proficient in the use of BIM software
Strong understanding of BIM principles, workflows, and industry standards
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support the project teams
Certification in BIM-related disciplines (e.g., BIM Manager, BIM Coordinator) is desirable
Experience in 3D and 4D will be an added advantage
