Requirements: Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Boilerman Grade 1 by DOSH (JKKP).At least 3 years working experience in natural gas fired steam boiler operation (not less than 5.5 tons per hour).Well-verse in Factory and Machinery Act 1967 (Act 139), Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (Act 514) and other related Acts or Regulations.Knowledge and experience in chiller, compressor and other utilities equipment will be and added advantage.Able to work independently with minimum supervisory.Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.Systematic and result oriented.Strong knowledge in 5S and workplace safety.Good interpersonal, coordination and planning skills.Willing to work extra hours and in shift rotations.Wiling to work on Public Holidays, SatRoles & Responsibilities: To perform daily monitoring on boiler to ensure boiler and utilities equipment running in safe and good working condition.To complete the checklists and perform daily inspections on essential fittings and mountings and to ensure all are in good conditions and able to function efficiently.To ensure the requirements of quality and operations are met and to support in a total preventive maintenance system.To establish and review start-up, shut down and blow down standard operating procedures in supplying steam to plant and machineries.To prepare boiler for periodical inspections and provide support during inspections by the authority.To initiate change shift procedure and coordination together with other boilerman.To maintain boiler room in clean, tidy, good ventilation and safe environment.To maintain the record of measurement instruments and calibration controls.To develop, participate lean manufacturing implementation and drive for continuous improvement.To participate in company activities pertaining to training, employee activity, firefighting, safety and health.To support department KPI and work as a team to achieve overall company quality objective.To undertake job related tasks as assigned by superior/ the management.
