Position Overview: The Coffee Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a love for coffee, a knack for multitasking, and a commitment to creating a positive experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities: Coffee Preparation: Brew, prepare, and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and other specialty beverages, following established recipes and techniques. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns. Quality Control: Ensure the quality and consistency of coffee and beverages, including maintaining equipment and adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Workspace Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar and work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies. Follow procedures for cleaning and maintaining coffee equipment. Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately, including handling cash and credit card payments. Ensure all cash register procedures are followed. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other baristas and staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
