Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Proton Holdings Berhad is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team in George Town, Penang, MY. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in communications or a related field.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the company's brand and products
- Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, press releases, and internal communications
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist in organizing events, press conferences, and other promotional activities
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- Confident and hardworking personality
- Strong presentation and strategic planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms
- Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus
