Key Responsibilities: Product Development & Lifecycle Management:Lead the end-to-end product development process, focusing on baby and mother care items such as diapers, baby skincare, feeding essentials, and maternity products.Manage updates to the existing product portfolio, ensuring all products remain relevant, safe, and competitive in the market.Work closely with marketing, and operations to ensure products meet customer needs and regulatory standards.Sourcing & Specification:Identify and collaborate with trusted suppliers, ensuring all raw materials and ingredients meet stringent safety and quality standards for baby and maternity products.Develop detailed product specifications with a focus on quality, compliance (especially with safety certifications), and affordability.Pricing & Cost Management:Create and maintain competitive pricing strategies based on market research and cost analysis, ensuring accessibility to a wide range of customers.Monitor product costs and collaborate with finance to ensure profitability, while maintaining affordability for parents.Demand Planning & Forecasting:Work closely with demand planning and supply chain teams to forecast product needs, ensuring consistent availability of essential baby and mother care products.Utilize market and sales data to make informed decisions on inventory planning and product launches.Market Research & Consumer Insights:Conduct thorough market research to understand evolving trends in baby and mother care, such as sustainable products, hypoallergenic materials, and organic ingredients.Analyze customer feedback and competitor offerings to inform product design, development, and marketing strategies.Project Management:Oversee multiple product development projects, ensuring timely delivery and launch while managing resources effectively.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure products meet customer expectations and safety standards. Key Competencies: Deep understanding of product positioning and baby/mother care markets, consumer preferences, and safety requirements.A strategic thinker with the ability to lead 360-degree campaign development. Strong project management and product lifecycle management experience.Familiarity with demand planning and product forecasting within a CPG environment.Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable product strategies.
