Job Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of dishes, including chopping, slicing, and sautéing.
Working on specific stations, such as the grill, sauté, or pastry, under the guidance of a Chef de Partie.
Ensuring dishes are plated according to the chef's specifications.
Monitoring food quality and consistency.
Assisting in inventory control, including ordering and receiving supplies.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
Following recipes and adhering to standardized procedures.
Helping to minimize food waste and control costs.
Identifying and resolving kitchen issues.
Adapting to changing demands and unexpected situations.
