Job Responsibilities: Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities aligned with OCIM's strategic objectives.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and potential areas for expansion.
Develop and implement strategic plans for new ventures, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and resource allocation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure successful execution of new ventures.
Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, stakeholders, and investors to support growth initiatives.
Oversee the project management of new ventures, ensuring milestones are achieved within scope and budget.
Present business proposals and progress updates to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Monitor the performance of new ventures and make strategic adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Stay abreast of industry developments and innovations to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage.
Requirements Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, venture management, or strategic planning, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing new ventures or products.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
Excellent leadership and team management skills with the capacity to influence and drive collaboration across teams.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging various stakeholders effectively.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in building partnerships and managing stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
