RESPONSIBILITIES, AUTHORITIES AND DUTIES
Liaise with farm consultants and construction teams on the development and maintenance of the durian plantation.
Manage and provide guidance to workers in the daily operations, including planting, cultivation, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, safety protocols, grafting, pruning, weeding, manuring, and infrastructure.
Plan and execute schedules to optimize resource utilization.
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues regarding all aspects of the durian plantation including but not limited to cultivation, pesticide control, infrastructure, equipment, and safety protocols, and take corrective actions and make proposals to management.
Keep track and maintain records pertaining to the plantation.
Assist in any other ad-hoc assignments or operational works.
Ensure job tasks have been completed satisfactorily within the time frame.
Provide timely updates to the Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in plantation management ideally with durian and other related farm management.
Possess a valid motorcycle and motor car driving (Class D) license.
Physically fit and willing to operate machinery.
Able to lead a team and work independently.
Able to read English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Chinese.
Computer literacy skills in Word & Excel.
