Job Description1.
Environment 1.1 Supervising and Managing Environmental Aspects: activity on Air Emission, Ground & Surface Water, Perimeter Noise.
1.2 Supervising and Organizing Inventory of Industrial Waste Management, Waste Storage, and Disposal Regulations.
1.3 Create and uphold policies and procedures for Environmental Management.
1.4 Operational liaison with Department of Environment.

Occupational Health 2.1 Plant noise level monitoring coordination.
2.2 Aligning plant Occupational Health concerns with the Occupational Health Physician.
2.3 Organize occupational health training such as Hearing Conservation, Manual Handling & Ergonomics, and Certified First Aid.
2.4 Create and uphold policies and procedures related to Occupational Health.
2.5 Operational liaison with Department of Health.
3.
Safety 3.1 Offer counsel to plant management and employees on safety procedures and precautions.
3.2 Ensure safety audits and inspections are carried out regularly to identify and prevent any potential hazards that may pose a risk of injury to individuals within the plant.
3.3 Advocate for safety awareness in the plant by launching a campaign and distributing brochures.
3.4 Coordinate incident investigation activity.
3.5 Coordinate and oversee the operations of the Plant and Departmental EHS Committee.
3.6 Coordinate plant Emergency Response Activity.
3.7 Conduct safety training i.e Emergency Response, Risk assessment, Chemical Handling.
3.8 Represent plant to Gebeng Emergency Response Organization (GEMA).
3.9 Develop and maintain plant Safety Policy and Procedures.
3.10 Oversee the implementation of the plant Safety Policy and Procedure through EHS committees.
3.11 Liaison with Statutory body such as DOSH on occupational safety and BOMBA / GEMA on emergency response.

Site Security 4.1 Manage site security system.
4.2 Develop and maintain site security policy and procedures.
Qualifications1.
Possess at least a Professional Certification or Diploma/Bachelor's degree (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent discipline.2.
Certified Safety & Health (SHO) with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book Holder) or currently working towards registration with DOSH for Green Book Certification.3.
At least 4 years of working experience in safety related activities in manufacturing background, knowledge in ISO is an added advantage.4.
Highly responsive, flexible and adaptable.5.
Competent in working with minimal oversight and dependable individual.
