Job Descriptions:
Assist the Manager – Petroleum Services and Senior Engineer in the promotion, sales, and service of all rotating equipment products for the oil and gas industry.
This includes rotating equipment such as reciprocating pumps & compressors, internal combustion engines, and gas compressors.
Provide technical support in project execution, maintenance services, commissioning activities, turnaround and maintenance jobs, and site visits.
Assist in reviewing projects thoroughly and managing the required documentation throughout the bidding exercise.
Manage the procurement side of projects, including summary reports, cost estimation, correspondences, and project work scope.
Compile and organize filing, documentation, and reporting systems effectively for service operations.
Recommend measures to improve operational processes and quality of services.
Provide and coordinate with OEMs for technical support for customers, including operation/maintenance involving rotating equipment such as non-Caterpillar engines, pumps, and air compressors located offshore and onshore.
Possess a strong basic understanding of air & gas compressors and IC engine fundamentals; knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
Lead the service team and monitor daily service technician operations.
Prepare PTW, JHA, WMS, etc., before work execution.
Have experience using precision tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, etc.).
Control job progress to ensure all service operations meet customer satisfaction.
Provide technical and network training to service technicians as required.
Implement and drive improvements in the service department regarding quality service and problem-solving.
Evaluate department processes and recommend changes based on process analysis.
Ensure staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
Meet department productivity and quality goals.
Serve on committees and teams as a department representative.
