Employment Type: Contract - Outsource Job Purpose
To drive the category management for company, ensuring optimal and sustainable solutions that deliver timely value to stakeholders while fostering long-term business success.
Accountabilities Category Strategy & Planning: Execution of long-term category management strategies to optimize procurement across Company Group, aligning with overarching business objectives.Category Strategy Implementation: Drive the implementation of comprehensive category strategies, integrating sourcing and non-sourcing initiatives while aligning with the Supplier Relationship Management framework.Category Contract Management: Strategically manage and oversee contract activities within sub-categories, ensuring stakeholder engagement and adherence to contract deliverables.Supplier Registration & Performance Management: Develop and implement a robust Supplier Registration system, ensuring an accurate and up-to-date supplier databank to support effective sourcing across the company.
Oversee Supplier Performance Appraisals, reporting to the Contractor/Consultant Performance Review Committee (KCPRC) to ensure reliable supplier lists for selective bidding and tender evaluation.Supplier Relationship Management: Assist supplier relationships for category management contracts through regular engagement, addressing performance and contract-related issues.Category Risk Management: Implement strategies for risk assessment and mitigation within category management.Governance Compliance: Ensuring integrity and good governance in all processes.Value Creation & Delivery: Execute Category Management Sourcing initiatives by identifying and leveraging category synergies across Company Group Procurement and other stakeholders to drive value creation.Panel Contractors Procurement: Assist and undertake the required Panel Contractors procurement process and procedures, including budget allocation requests.Quotation and Payment Processes: Review, recommend, and/or verify submissions of quotations, Job Sheets, and claim/payment processes.
Requirements Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or a related field.Years of Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in Construction and/or Facility Management.
