SALARY RANGE : RM 3000 - RM4000 A DAY IN A LIFE As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities.
As part of the Marketing Operations team, You will be the driver and lynchpin of all marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our marketing operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness. This role will play a crucial part in streamlining processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration between marketing and other departments, as well as between regional and country-level marketing teams. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Project Planning and Execution Develop clear project plans for trade shows, events, activations, and video/photo shoots, ensuring alignment with business targets. Coordinate logistics and execution, collaborating with relevant teams, vendors, and international counterparts. Process Optimization Streamline processes for efficient collaboration with other departments and other country's teams, updating and creating procedures as necessary. Manage and oversee the shared task management tool (Notion or otherwise) for the marketing team. As part of the Marketing Operations team, conduct training and change management where necessary on processes and improvements. Update and maintain the group marketing calendar, Notion pages/cards, and shared folders, ensuring accessibility for stakeholders. Monitor and track group marketing spend to stay within the allocated budget. Sourcing & Vendor Management (Merchandising/Events) Source, negotiate, and maintain strong partnerships with vendors for merchandising and event needs, ensuring competitive pricing and timely, high-quality delivery. Oversee procurement and inventory management for event materials and promotional merchandise, ensuring all supplies are delivered on time and align with brand standards. Campaign Management Efficiently manage all marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals at a group level. Data management and reporting for all campaigns and sustenance initiatives to ensure we are in track to our goals. Operational Management Handle operational needs for the marketing team, including physical materials, merchandise management, logistics, procurement, and payments. Assist in budget management of marketing's budget and spend. Marketing research is needed for us to keep up with the market and trends continually. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams (Demand Generation, Customer Experience, Content Marketing, Brand & Creative, and PR & Comms) to understand objectives, strategy, tasks and timelines that are essential and drive the delivery of those tasks. Partner with departments such as legal, procurement, finance, and customer care for cross-functional operational processes and issues. These are minimum-requirement skills and a 'must-have' for the role:
Growth Marketing Mindset: Experimentation and solution-driven to optimize marketing efforts for growth. Resourceful and Self-Starter: Proactive and able to work independently, with a proven ability to solve problems and overcome challenges. Generalist Skills: Capable of strategizing the big picture while managing detailed execution, with a general understanding of Marketing & Brand. Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery. Proficiency in Data Analysis: Crucial for assessing campaign performance, understanding consumer behavior, and making data-driven decisions.
