Field Service Engineer (Software)

Job Description: 
Provide on-site software installation and technical support to customers, resolving complex issue related to automation software systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware/wiring and software problems in a timely and efficient manner.Communicate technical solutions to customer in a clear and concise manner.Provide training and guidance to customer on issue resolution. Maintain accurate and up to date user/training and troubleshooting manuals.Travel to customer sites (including international sites) to provide hands-on technical support. Dynamic work-shifts may be required on need basis.  Preferred Education Background :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Science/Software Engineering. Preferred Experience Background :
Minimum 2 year's experience in related field. Experience in software testing and maintenance.Excellent leadership, communication and customer skills.Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment. Strong software troubleshooting skill in Windows and Linux Environment. Experience in automation software support and maintenance is an advantage.Ability to develop software scripts and troubleshooting tools is an advantage. Knowledge of SECS/GEM and SEMI standards is an advantage. Basic knowledge of relational databases, including MSSQL, MySQL, and Oracle, is an advantage.Willing to travel local and overseas.
