Financial Services ConsultantJob Purpose
To promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance products to the Bank's mass and mass affluent customers.
To provide professional advice on appropriate financial products based on customer needs.
To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after-sales services.
To work closely with Preferred Relationship Managers and Commercial Banking Relationship Managers for referral on potential affluent customers.
To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
To act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
To achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the achievement of the regional target.
Key Responsibilities
Sales PlanningTo promote and professionally sell a wide range of Bancassurance life insurance products to the Bank's existing and potential customers.
To provide professional advice on appropriate financial products based on customer needs.
To ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent after-sales service.
To plan and implement sales activities related to Bancassurance products.
To act promptly on all leads and follow-up activities.
To acquire good knowledge of Bancassurance products in the market.
To achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the achievement of the branch target.
Manage sales pipeline by participating in sales management routines.
Keeping abreast with accurate and updated information on products, services, etc.
Participate in CPD activities to increase knowledge and skills.
Update branch managers on the status of activities and any issues when necessary.
Sales ExecutionTo actively market and sell Sun Life products to all customers.
Actively involve in cross-product sales activities to ensure optimal customer reach, product exposure, and effective operations that optimize delivery to customers.
Ensuring the success of all relevant sales campaigns.
Customer RelationsHandles customer inquiries diligently, resolving or escalating as necessary to the relevant parties.
Refer customers to the relevant officers or salespersons for other products and services.
Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the respective parties where necessary.
Develop and build long-term business relationships with customers.
ComplianceTo ensure the completeness and accuracy of customers' documents and information for sales execution and submission.
To perform housekeeping on business documentation efficiently, avoiding exposure and exercising caution on all confidential information.
To submit the necessary documents to the relevant parties and follow up in a timely manner.
To strictly comply with CIMB Bank's policies and procedures, including credit control procedures, audit compliance, BNM Guidelines, etc.
To comply with sales code of ethics and governance.
To respond to compliance inquiries both from vertical and horizontal as well as audit, etc.
People ManagementTo promote and encourage teamwork by:
Providing assistance to colleagues, branch lead generators, supervisors, etc.
Sharing knowledge and new ideas with the team.
Maintaining a conducive and professional working relationship with team members and customers.
To project a professional business image at all times through high standards of housekeeping and personal grooming.
Qualifications
Fresh graduate.
Minimum a diploma/degree in any field.
Minimum STPM/SPM (must obtain credit either in Bahasa Malaysia, English or Mandarin, and Mathematics).
Education
Degree in any discipline.
Skills
Good networking skills, customer focus, confident, proactive, and result-oriented.
Excellent communication skills, proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Mandarin is preferable but optional.
Good business etiquette and image.
Computer literate (e.g., basic Microsoft Office).#J-18808-Ljbffr
