Founded in 1995, Sunmow is a partnership company owned by Kong Chiong Miew and Lim Siek Ling. Early on, the decision was made to create a business model with a simple focus on general civil works, working as a subcontractor - engaging in public and private sector projects of all sizes. In 2002, Kong Chiong Ung had become part of Sunmow under the invitation of the founder, Kong Chiong Miew. The acquisition added a new dimension by bringing his specialised civil engineering background to the growth of the company. This landmark union had begun the progression towards a private limited company that we are today, operating from roughly 550 qualified staff and workers across 5 core sectors - building construction, renovation, drainage & sewage systems, road paving, civil engineering. The accumulation of experience and growth of business had steadily drive the company towards a new stage through cutting out all the middleman and began to work directly with the client - as main contractor. This move accelerated the development of company which gain greater recognition and marketing. Throughout the rapid development, Sunmow Construction Sdn. Bhd.
