Drives alignment between Supplier roadmaps and Dell line of business roadmaps. Negotiates product cost and contracts as appropriate. Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements- With limited direction, organizes or leads cross-functional commodity team and drives commodity metrics, strategies and objectives while conducting risk analysis and recommending mitigation strategies- Develops and gains business buy in for complex RFQ (request for quotation) in addition to making supply chain optimization recommendations, participates in post-mortem analysis and process updates to support new products- Drives resolutions for issues within the supplier and negotiates product cost and contracts, involving Senior Management as appropriate- Tracks and monitors new technology development and supports supplier integration with organization strategy- Responsible to develop and maintain contact and build relationships with key suppliers**Desirable Requirements**- Typically requires 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or 5+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience**Here's our story; now tell us yours**Dell Technologies helps organizations and individuals build a brighter digital tomorrow.
