Job Summary: The HR Manager (Operations) is responsible for managing HR operations at the outlet level ensuring smooth payroll processing, effective industrial relations (IR) management and overall HR compliance. The role requires hands-on experience in the F&B industry to manage unique operational challenges and ensure efficient HR support to all outlets. The HR Manager will act as a key link between the corporate HR team and outlet operations, ensuring seamless implementation of HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities: HR Operations Management:Oversee all HR operations across outlets, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.Manage the employee lifecycle for outlet staff, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.Provide HR support to outlet managers to address day-to-day HR matters efficiently.2. Payroll Management: Supervise the end-to-end payroll process for all outlet staff, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.Ensure compliance with statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, income tax, etc.).Address and resolve payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.3. Industrial Relations (IR) Management: Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and disputes, ensuring resolution in line with labor laws and company policies.Manage and oversee any IR matters, including investigations, misconduct cases, and disputes with employees.Represent the company in IR-related negotiations, conciliations, or other legal proceedings.4. Compliance & Employee Relations: Ensure outlet-level HR activities comply with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.Foster positive employee relations, promoting a productive and engaged workforce across outlets.Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives for outlet-level employees.5. HR Reporting & Analytics: Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover rates, payroll costs, and absenteeism to senior management.Provide insights and recommendations to improve HR operational efficiency at the outlet level. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in HR operations within the F&B industry.Strong knowledge of payroll processes and local labor laws.Proven experience in managing industrial relations and handling employee grievances.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel to multiple outlets and work flexible hours as needed.Proficiency in HR2000 software.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
