Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure HVAC systems meet design specifications, regulatory standards, and quality expectations.
Perform inspections and audits on HVAC system components and installations to verify adherence to quality standards.
Identify defects or non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures for HVAC systems.
Testing and Validation: Conduct performance and reliability testing on HVAC systems and their components.
Analyze test results to determine system efficiency, energy consumption, and operational stability.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues identified during testing and propose solutions to optimize system performance.
Supplier and Vendor Management: Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that HVAC components meet quality standards before procurement.
Perform inspections on HVAC materials and equipment to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Develop quality requirements for suppliers and assess their performance.
Documentation and Reporting: Document all quality-related activities, including test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports.
Maintain detailed records of quality issues and actions taken for continuous improvement.
Provide regular reports to senior management on HVAC quality metrics and project status.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure HVAC systems comply with relevant national and international codes and standards, such as ISO, and local building codes.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and technological advances related to HVAC systems.
Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, installation teams, and project managers, to ensure HVAC systems meet project requirements.
Assist with training and educating team members on HVAC quality standards and best practices.
Support the continuous improvement process by identifying areas for quality enhancement.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Investigate quality issues, root causes, and failures, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking ways to enhance system quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in HVAC system design, testing, or quality assurance.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and related standards (e.g.
ISO, local building codes).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with HVAC testing equipment and performance evaluation.
Familiarity with QMS (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software for documentation and reporting.
