Ict & Computing Teacher (Igcse)

RESPONSIBILITIES To review, update and develop lesson plans, scheme of work, lectures/practical, tutorials, assignments, class discussion in compliance with the syllabus and curriculum.To conduct lectures, tutorials, discussion, workshops, consultancy and any other means of facilitating the learning of students enrolled for the programme.To assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments.To monitor and maintain accurate records of students' progress and development in terms of academic performance and class attendance.To provide academic counselling and pastoral care to all students.To involve in the development, administration and marking of exams and other assessments.To support after school activities.To attend and participate in faculty and parent meetings.To cover for colleagues' absence.To ensure that school resources and property are used responsibly.To work in collaboration with sales and marketing to achieve targeted student enrolment, including seminars, open days, and programme previews.To contribute to the academic and social life of the school.To perform all other duties that may be assigned to you by your superior from time to time. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Technology or equivalent At least 3 years of relevant computing and ICT teaching experience in similar school context. Those with programme coordination experience will be an advantage.Skill and knowledge on Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity or Data Sciences will be an added advantage.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Strong command in spoken and written English.
