Inspector of Work (Quantity Surveyor) - Dungun, TerengganuWe are an established Class "A" construction company, actively involved in many infrastructure and building projects nationwide. We are seeking dynamic, hardworking, and motivated personnel to join our organization.
Responsibilities:
Preparation and submission of budgetary estimates from construction drawings, bill of quantities for all disciplines and costs estimation.
Responsible for monthly progress claim, variation orders, and finalize accounts.
Conduct monthly joint site measurement for the progress claim or whenever necessary.
Prepare and compile necessary documents for contract interim payment, order of variation work, and price adjustment (i.e., IPC, APK, and PHK).
Coordinate with client/consultant on the main contract and variation order when necessary.
Attend site valuation, site measurement, and meetings when necessary.
Provide a list of any potential variation orders and advise on any contract issues.
Monitor amendments to the scope of works and conditions of contract, variation orders, and apply for extensions of time if necessary.
Coordinate with the finance department on payment, monitor monthly cash flow projection, and generate relevant reports.
Any other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Familiar with infrastructure projects.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
