Responsibilities:The Interface Manager shall be responsible for managing Offshore Oil & Gas, especially FPSO Project interface as well as interfacing with the Client for FIM Packages.
Main role is to ensure all aspects of Project interfaces are properly defined, identified, and systematically communicated for seamless integration between various Project stakeholders at all phases.
This role requires technical management of regulatory, Classification, Flag and Local Governmental and statutory requirements related to Engineering deliverables.
Stewardship of Management of Change is also one of the critical roles.
Critical Success Factors:Technical knowledge and understanding of various interface FPSO, Offshore Oil & Gas Interfaces requirements, and other Oil & Gas field requirements.
Hands-on skill to prepare professional presentation materials.
Excellent presentation skills, meeting facilitator, and communicator.
Responsible for day-to-day coordination/interfacing tasks as well as complex problem resolution in consultation with related Engineering Discipline Leads, Project Engineering Manager, and other functional Senior members like Planning, Project Management, and Client's representatives.
Ability to work in small teams, multidiscipline, cross-functional groups on multiple projects simultaneously.
Require engineers with a high level of critical thinking capable of working within an unstructured environment.
Well versed with CLASS (ABS, DNV), SOLAS, Regulations and Standards, Codes, and rules.
Technical review of CLASS input and drive resolution of verification issues.
Liaise with internal and external specialists and networks to gain and share knowledge facilitating the import and export of good practices and experience.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills:Qualification and Experience:
BE Degree in Chemical/Petroleum/Mechanical, preferably with some Project Management Qualification/training will be considered along with an adequate combination of education and experience.
Total minimum 12 years of Design/Technical Management experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas sector (preferably around 15 years) with a minimum of ten (10) years working experience in Project Interface Management, Project planning, and design works of Offshore Oil and gas facilities.
The incumbent has been involved in a minimum of one (1) FPSO project throughout the project phase (engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning) as Interface Manager / Interface Senior Engineer.
