We are looking for a Project Accountant (Downstream Finance).
Work Location: Sarawak, Malaysia. (Sarawakians, you are encouraged to apply).
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, or similar. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) would be advantageous.
4-5 years of work experience as a project accountant, or similar.
Proficiency in accounting systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
Ability to report to the Head Finance Downstream and other project managers or key stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Exceptional ability to prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and tax reports.
In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills toward effective collaboration.
Impeccable reputation for trustworthiness, integrity, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
