General Description / Language to Use for Job Postings: TORR's Lab Technicians shall provide professional services and skills towards the clients and the company. Ultimately, his main objective is to contribute to his skills towards the client's requirement Responsibilities: - To receive samples - To prepare test reports - To maintain laboratory records - To monitor laboratory working stocks, equipment and general laboratory upkeep - Report directly to Laboratory Engineer - To always maintain and observe ISO 17025 procedures for all related laboratory matters - Ensure that accreditation requirements are met - Document all activities, results, and report back to management - Clean and sterilize equipment and work area - Observe and seek opportunities for improvement within the ISO 17025 Quality Management System - Classify and label samples - Undertake basic administrative tasks (e.g: filing and answering telephones). Minimum Educational Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in related field (e.g. molecular, biology, biotechnology) - Knowledge and experience in ISO 17025 environment is an added advantage Minimum Previous Experience: - Minimum (2) two years' experiences in oil and gas industry Other Skills: - Ability to grasp clients' needs and to increase client's engagement - Able to work under time pressure - Basic knowledge in computer skills on MS OfficeWith over decades of experience, you can trust us to provide you with a wide range of expertise in numerous disciplines such as electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, civil structural, fire safety & protection; and not limited to fire & gas detection, advance electrical testing and professional manpower supply.
