Lab Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities: - Conduct physiochemical testing of semi-finished goods, finished goods, shelf-life samples, and raw materials according to sampling plan or schedule.Collect finished goods and shelf-life samples according to sampling plan or schedule and perform testing accordingly.Follow up on quarantine records and arrange scheduled waste and lab waste material disposal.Manage laboratory inventory, prepare solutions, calibrate equipment, clean and set up lab instruments.Coordinate daily food and water samples for sending out to external labs for testing.Conduct spike test analysis of incoming raw materials or related samples if needed.Adhere to Good Lab Practices (GLP), implement 5S, and execute safety procedures for the laboratory environment.Prepare and check daily analysis reports in accordance with production plan and ensure work instructions are up to date.Ensure data entry into the system is up to date according to routine tests and sampling plan.Education & Experience: - Diploma/Degree in Science related fields (i.e., Life Sciences, Biotechnology and/or Biochemistry.Previous experience in physiochemical laboratory would be advantageous.Requirements & Skill: - Attention to detail and data recording ability.Able to plan and priorities tasks according to timeline.Demonstrate good numeracy ability and computer literate. Able to work on night shift and overtime on Saturday, Sunday and/or Public Holiday (if required).
