Lab Technician

Basic FunctionTest samples of raw materials, production, and customer shipments to verify quality. Document and communicate results to appropriate personnel.**Responsibilities**:- Perform routine product analysis as assigned by more experienced Lab Technician / Supervisor / Manager and may assist in more complex analysis.- Follow instructions and checklists to operate and calibrate basic laboratory equipment and apparatus.- Perform routine maintenance on the laboratory instruments, equipment and work area.- Provide support in analyzing and collecting data for product investigations.- Record results in computer based data retention system.- Perform calculations, and prepare simple technical reports, including conclusions and recommendations.- Provide administrative assistance as requested.- Work in accordance with all relevant requirements and internal safety guidelines.- Provide support to team members as necessary.- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualification- SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1 / SKM Level 2 / SKM Level 3 or Equivalent- Fresh graduates are welcome.- Science stream background- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to operate various tests on basic and complex lab equipment is essential.Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month**Benefits**:- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Parental leave- Professional developmentSchedule:- Evening shift- Night shiftSupplemental pay types:- Attendance bonus- Overtime pay- Performance bonus- Yearly bonusApplication Question(s):- Are you able to work on evening and night shifts?**Education**:- STM/STPM (preferred)
