Essential Responsibilities • Primary interface with the business teams for developing and managing logistics plans for various projects in the power and water organization
• Principal lead for managing the hand-off of project logistics plans for global project equipment to GGO for quotes and contracts.
• Manage existing Inquiry to Order and Order to Remittance logistics processes within the Gas Power Systems Projects, supporting delivery of customer equipment.
• Manage Logistics sourcing and cost saving work and support project cost down
• Manage cross-functional teams to ensure planning and execution of logistics that supports on-time delivery and lowest optimized cost of equipment to our customers.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of transport mode specialists with customer requirements and contract deliverables.
• Establish transport mode requirements for Logistics Execution team.
• Prepare and review of budgets for specific project logistics.
• Oversee expedited shipments from various projects that could include shortage & warranty, performance equipment.
• Present to business leadership strategies and execution plans to drive operational goals.
Role Summary/Purpose
The Gas Power Systems Project Logistics team seeks a strong candidate to own and execute project equipment delivery and ensure delivery schedules are met. Working with Fulfillment, Planning, global supply chain, and GGO, you will be required to develop and execute a project logistics plan that meets contract and budgetary requirements for project in Asia. Drive logistics cost saving and achieve cost out for Gas Power business
Qualifications/Requirements
• Due to projects based in Taiwan, the ability to communicate with stakeholders in Taiwan in the local language is essential to the success of this role.
• Can accept 40%-50% travel is a must , major travel to Taipei, sometimes Korea or Japan
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience (minimum of 4 years of professional experience)
• Minimum of 4 years professional experience in Power Generation supply chain or Logistics Management
• Minimum 2 years International Trade experience and logistics sourcing experience
