Role & Job Responsibilities: Supporting the Centre Manager and Leasing Department in planning and implementing tenancy mix for the retail shopping mall.Identify and short-list suitable tenants and retail concepts for the mall. Initiate discussion with potential tenants, negotiate the lease and finalize rental and other terms and conditions. Ensure tenants adhere to the lease terms. Follow up through execution up to the opening of store.Establish and maintain good landlord-tenant relationship. Resolve any tenants' concerns and issues soonest possible in interest for betterment of the mall.Must be able to prepare and maintain tenancy agreements, generate management reports as well as any other related documents with regards to lease transactions.To continuously develop good rapport relationships with the tenants/retailers.To continuously develop the Leasing Department with the securing of appropriate tenants for the Shopping CentreTo establish and maintain an effective departmental administration and communication system to ensure easy access and smooth flow of information for both inter and intra department such as Operations, Finance & Marketing Department.To assist and work closely with Finance Department regarding matters on tenant's rental and deposit collections, payments and debtor aging reports.Liaise closely with inter-departments on matters pertaining to rental and deposit collection, fit-out, operations and insurance as well as monitor and analyze tenants' sales and overall performance.Conduct market research on shopping malls in order to keep abreast of retail property development in the market.To undertake any other job scopes or projects as requested by Management. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business Studies/Estate Management or relevant field of studies.Minimum 2 years' experience for Executive role and 4 years' experience for Senior Executive role with mall leasing background & preferably with good exposure in retail malls.Possess excellent interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft office.Proficient speaking abilities in Mandarin or Cantonese is precedence.Well versed in report writing and presentation skills.A team player, resourceful, efficient, attentive with details and with strong analytical skills.Resourceful, self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
