Job ResponsibilitiesLogistics Coordination & Delivery ManagementManage and oversee the end-to-end logistics process, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to retail stores and customers.Develop strategies to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.Monitor and coordinate order fulfillment, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.Collaborate with retail and warehouse teams to align stock levels with demand and reduce delivery lead times.2. Fleet & Driver Management Supervise and manage delivery drivers, ensuring adherence to assigned routes and schedules.Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure that fleet operations comply with safety and legal standards.Manage driver rosters, including shift planning, time-off requests, and overtime approvals.Conduct regular training for drivers on safety practices, customer service, and company policies.Address any operational issues related to transportation, including traffic fines, breakdowns, and route adjustments.3. Vendor & External Partner Coordination Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and high-quality service.Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.Monitor and review the performance of logistics vendors and provide feedback for continuous improvement.4. Inventory & Warehouse Support Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient stock management and minimize discrepancies.Assist with inventory tracking and reporting, helping to maintain optimal stock levels at all times.Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse and logistics teams to meet operational targets.5. Compliance & Safety Management Ensure compliance with local labor laws, transportation regulations, and health and safety standards.Develop and enforce safety protocols for both drivers and warehouse operations.Conduct regular audits to ensure that safety procedures and company policies are being followed.Manage work permits and other documentation for foreign workers in accordance with regulations.6. People Management & Development Assist with recruiting and onboarding new drivers and logistics personnel.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to foster employee growth and development.Address employee grievances and manage disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.7. Data Analysis & Reporting Track and report key logistics metrics, including delivery performance, fleet efficiency, and order fulfillment accuracy.Utilize data analytics to identify bottlenecks and propose operational improvements.Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to enhance logistics performance.8. Additional Duties Support the operations team with any other tasks or projects as needed, ensuring alignment with company goals.Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably in a retail environment.Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing drivers and warehouse teams.Solid understanding of logistics processes, fleet management, and inventory control.Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with vendors, drivers, and internal teams.Knowledge of transportation laws, safety regulations, and compliance standards.Work EnvironmentThis role involves a combination of office-based planning and hands-on management of logistics operations within the warehouse and distribution network.Occasional travel may be required to coordinate with external partners or resolve delivery issues at retail locations.
