Maintenance Technician

Perform routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in a timely manner.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
Monitor and inspect equipment and machinery for signs of wear, malfunction, or damage.
Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and any necessary follow-up actions.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Work closely with the operations and production teams to identify areas for improvement.
Report to HOD and GM.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience (4+ years) in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficient with a variety of hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or similar fields.
Previous experience with automated systems and robotics is a plus.
