About the role
The Manager for Cafe Jiwa Tanjung will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of one of Dark Roast Enterprise's key Cafe outlets in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. This full-time position is responsible for driving the store's performance, managing a team of retail associates, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cafe management and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
What you'll be doing Manage day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and financial reportingLead and motivate a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedbackImplement sales and marketing strategies to drive store growth and profitabilityEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulationsMaintain a clean, well-organized, and customer-friendly store environmentFoster strong relationships with customers and address any concerns or complaintsCollaborate with the regional management team to identify and implement best practicesWhat we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B management or a related fieldStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and coach a teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysisKnowledge of the local retail market and consumer trendsProblem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle dynamic store operationsA passion for the Food and Beverages industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiencesBenefit: KWSPMedical AllowancePerformance AllowanceMeal ProvidedResponsibilities: Report directly to the District Manager of all issues (company operational targets, and ensure the consistency of operation, product delivery, customer service, and approach) and take prompt and necessary actionsManage daily operations such as providing support and guidance to all PICs within the locations assignedCoach outlet supervisor to manage shifts which include daily decisions to make, schedule, plan while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanlinessConduct the follow-up and ensure team member attendance is recordedEnsure sufficient manpower and headcount at their respective outlets for a smooth flow of daily operationArrange training completely on time and follow up on the staff progress at the locationParticipate in meetings and able to supervise the outlet schedules and operationsOversee outlets' compliance with operational standards and company policiesInvestigate, report, coach, and take necessary actions towards misconduct issues that come across under their supervisionManage the deadline to prepare documents, reports, and update recordsSupervise the highest levels of customer service. Support employees to enable them to be accountable for delivering good customer serviceExecute sales performance data of respective outlets and maximize sales opportunities to ensure sales targets are metPerform any other special projects/ tasks as assigned by superior/ managementRequirements: Must possess a Diploma/Degree in any related disciplinesMinimum 3 years of retail experience at the managerial levelStrong leadership and coaching skillsPositive attitude and willingness to learnWillingness to work overtime and Public Holiday if requiredExcellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skillsA valuable team player and able to work independentlyComputer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and MalayConfident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesPossess own transport and willing to travelJob Type: Full-time
