Job Description

- Physical logistic tasks of receiving, warehouse and shipping.
- Interact with cross functional team within Plant and Bosch.
- Interact with external parties – Logistics Service Providers, Liners etc.
- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Responsible for the physical logistic tasks of receiving, warehousing, and shipping to ensure the quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
- Responsible for the accuracy of inventory with physical counts and reconciliation
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
- Manage overall LOM performance results with coaching, counselling, and disciplining associates, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Achieve financial objectives and prepare annual budget, expenditures, analyse variances and corrective actions.
- Lead and participate actively in Bosch Production System (BPS) related activities.
- Support and prepare management reporting as and when necessary.
- Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications

- Degree in any discipline with related working experience.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in physical logistics in manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of work safety and transporting hazardous materials is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.
- Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
- Understands impact and consequences of own actions.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Meticulous, result oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
