Job Summary The Manager, Retail and Sales Operations, is responsible for overseeing the performance, efficiency, and operations of retail stores, ensuring sales targets are met and customer experiences are optimized. This role includes managing day-to-day operations, improving sales processes, leading retail teams, and collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with business objectives. The Manager works to maximize sales, enhance operational effectiveness, and maintain high standards across all retail locations.
You will play an important role, such as: 1.Retail Operations Management: Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all retail stores, aligning them with company policies and brand standards.Process Optimization: Continuously identify areas for improvement in retail operations, streamlining processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Store Performance Audits: Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess compliance with operational standards, inventory management, and visual merchandising guidelines.
2.Sales Strategy and Execution: Sales Targets: Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets across all retail stores, adjusting tactics based on performance data and market trends.Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Promotions and Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store promotions, campaigns, and events that drive foot traffic and increase sales. 3. Team Leadership and Development: Team Management: Lead, manage, and motivate store managers and retail teams, ensuring they are fully supported to achieve sales and operational goals.Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate with HR to implement development programs that enhance team skills, focusing on customer service and sales performance.Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews for store managers, setting clear goals and providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement. 4. Customer Experience Enhancement: Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all stores deliver a high level of customer service and consistently meet customer satisfaction goals.Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify trends, address concerns, and implement improvements to enhance the in-store experience.Customer Loyalty: Implement and oversee customer loyalty programs aimed at increasing repeat business and long-term customer retention. 5.Inventory and Stock Management: Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels across all stores, ensuring product availability, minimizing stockouts, and preventing overstock situations.Supply Chain Coordination: Work with supply chain teams to ensure efficient restocking and inventory management, and resolve any supply issues promptly. 6.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Marketing and Merchandising Alignment: Work closely with the marketing and merchandising teams to ensure store displays, promotions, and visual merchandising are aligned with company objectives and seasonal campaigns.HR Collaboration: Partner with HR on recruitment, staff onboarding, and team development to ensure stores are staffed with qualified personnel who align with the company's values.Finance and Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to manage store budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial goals are achieved. 7. Financial Management: Budget Management: Manage retail budgets, controlling operating expenses while maximizing sales and profitability for each location.Sales and Profitability Reporting: Analyze financial data to report on store sales, margins, and profitability, making recommendations to improve financial performance.Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising the customer experience or operational efficiency. 8. New Store Openings and Expansion: Expansion Support: Assist in the planning and execution of new store openings, from site selection to launch, ensuring alignment with company growth strategies.Launch Execution: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth store launches, meeting operational and branding standards.
