Oversee and monitor overall month end closing (MEC) activities and period closing for completeness and timeliness.
Review and approve manual journals at month end with appropriate and complete supporting documentation.
Manage day to day operations of the cost management function from management of costs, inventory, product standard cost and reporting in supporting the organization.
Manage and monitor weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly reporting for management and all stakeholders.
Plan and monitor the Annual Operational Planning (AOP) & Long-Term Business Plan (LRBP) to meet management's goal.
Plan and update quarterly price list for pricing guidance.
Plan and monitor the product standard cost update timely and completeness.
Plan and manage cycle count audit and physical verification of inventory.
Monitor the compliance with required external and internal controls.
Manage and collaborate with external and internal auditors.
Manage ad hoc requests from internal or external stakeholders.
Lead and drive any projects as assigned to meet organization's goal.
Job Requirement:
Education required:
Degree in Business /Accounting or Professional Qualification in financial accounting or management accounting
Years of experience:
6-10 years in relevant experience in Finance/Accounting/Costing
Skills / Abilities:
Strong analytical skills
Proactive, fast learner, self-motivated, performance driven and able to multitask.
Able to work independently as well as good a team player.
Dynamic with good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Excel, Words and PowerPoint
1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including Balance sheets, Income statements and cash flow statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
2. Supervise the accounting executive in day-to-day operations, including Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger related activities.
3. Ensure timely, accurate, complete recording of financial transactions in compliance with authorities and company policies.
4. Review and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancement.
5. Coordinate and support the annual audits, tax and related regulation activities.
6. Manage and review tax computation and ensure on time submission for tax estimation.
7. Identify and evaluate sources of funding. Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders to secure necessary operations and growth initiatives.
8. Set up internal control procedures & improve accounting & reporting systems.
9. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organizations goals and objectives.
10. Assess current practices and procedures, provide recommendations, and support any ad hoc request from superior.
Education required:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
Years of experience:
5 years and above experience in Financial Accounting.

Executive / Senior Executive - FINANCE - TAX
Job Responsibilities :
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, property tax, and any other applicable taxes.
Tax Planning: Assist in developing tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position and minimize tax liabilities.
Research: Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules.
Audit Support: Provide support during tax audits, including gathering relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Communication: Communicate with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and tax authorities as necessary to address tax-related issues and inquiries.
Advisory: Provide tax-related advice and guidance to internal departments on business transactions, investments, and other activities.
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential tax risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax-related processes.
Confidentiality : Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
Other Support : Support ad-hoc requirements from direct superior.
Job Requirements:
Education required:
Minimum bachelor's degree in taxation, finance or equivalent.
Years of experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in tax matters preferably in tax advisory / consultancy.
Proven work experience as a Tax Manager.
Candidate with professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA / ICAEW will be of added advantage.
Skills / Abilities:
Excellent knowledge oftax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.
Experience with ERP system and Proficient in MS Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
Works carefully and is diligent and detail oriented.
Motivates a team and has strong leadership skills.
Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices.
Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights and recommendations.
