Job Description The Marketing Manager/Asst Manager role is to lead our marketing team and drive the growth of our brand and products.
Reporting to the senior management, the Marketing Manager/Asst Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand building, marketing activities, new product launches, trademarks, product labeling, key account customer management, sales growth, PR crisis management, and personnel management within the marketing department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FMCG marketing, with expertise in both B2B and B2C strategies.
This role will be critical in driving product launches, generating sales leads, and ensuring that our marketing initiatives are aligned with current market trends and customer needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the planning and execution of new product launches, ensuring successful market introductions.
Develop and implement marketing strategies for both B2B and B2C segments to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth.
Generate high-quality sales leads through targeted marketing campaigns and support the sales team with necessary tools and collateral.
Oversee the company's brand identity, including the creation and maintenance of a brand manual to ensure consistent messaging.
Manage the company's trademarks, ensuring proper registration, protection, and legal compliance.
Drive innovative marketing campaigns and respond to market changes to maintain competitiveness.
Develop and manage public relations strategies and handle crisis communication to protect the brand image.
Manage external communication channels such as social media, email marketing, and PR to enhance brand visibility.
Supervise the creation of high-quality content tailored to the target audience and optimized for various channels.
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, and online advertising, while monitoring and optimizing campaign performance.
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and measurable ROI.
Conduct market research to inform marketing strategies and identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Lead and mentor the marketing team, providing coaching and development opportunities to achieve team goals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage relationships with external partners to support marketing objectives.
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Performing duties in complying with the Company's mandated guidelines, policies and procedures and rules and regulations governed by the law of Malaysia.
Perform task and work requirements as and when required and assigned.
AUTHORITIES To stop any unauthorized use of registered trademark and/or product labeling Authorized spokesperson shall be appointed to deal with public media.
To conduct customers' satisfaction and feedback survey Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field or related discipline is preferred Working Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing within the FMCG sector, with a proven track record of success in product launches and lead generation.
Language Proficiency Bahasa Malaysia, English Travel Requirements As and when needed Other Skills Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing Dynamics Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of market trends.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and marketing software/tools.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in marketing and branding Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
