We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Marketing Manager, Integrated MarComms, CMB and GBM

Principal Responsibilities

This role is part of the Global Marketing function which is focused on supporting the strategic and revenue growth priorities of two Global Businesses: Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking & Markets (GBM). The function focuses on understanding present and future customer needs and the identification, development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that support and strengthen the HSBC brand, support the drive for revenue and increase customer value and satisfaction in order to meet agreed targets and objectives at both a global and market level.

This role focuses on understanding the needs and priorities of business customers across Commercial Banking (CMB) and Global Banking & Markets (GBM) to develop product marketing strategies, campaigns and activities that increases consideration for the brand while driving revenue and increasing customer value and satisfaction to meet agreed targets and objectives

Responsibilities:

- In support of the Head of CMB and GBM Marketing, to work with relevant product stakeholders to plan and execute product marketing programmes.

- Keep abreast of competitive marketing activities, customer behaviour and emerging trends to formulate effective programmes.

- Manage the CMB and GBM marketing budgets, and maximise return on marketing investments.

- Drive an integrated product marketing strategy across various channels to deliver against the Global Businesses’ priorities and objectives.

- Establish and enhance the bank’s presence within the marketplace through effective activation of trade and industry sponsorship and events.

- Drive international connectivity and support cross-border business, with focus on delivering against the ASEAN strategy for the Group.

- Support lead generation, customer acquisition and utilisation through marketing-led initiatives to achieve greater share-of-wallet amongst the priority segments and growth verticals.

- Enable sales through development of effective frontline tools.

- Work closely with business planning and sales functions to ensure effective deployment of marketing activities.

- Identifies strategies to deliver results in a complex regulatory environment balancing business imperatives with client needs

- Deploy effective marketing investment through detailed planning, execution and control. Continuously monitoring programme results and improve on future ones.

- Adhere to marketing and branding policies, guidelines and process procedures

- Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk. Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.

Qualifications

Requirements:

- Degree level qualification in marketing and/or business studies preferred.

- Minimum 5-7 years broad business and marketing experience, ideally with some external to HSBC within a Financial Service based institution.

- A range of Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and delivering campaign strategies and multi-channel high profile campaigns. This should cover experience of identifying the role of research, proposition development, communications, delivery and channel management

- Ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts

- Proven ability to influence leadership teams

- Proven ability to work on multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills

- Proven ability to be a self-starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment

- Commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities

- Excellent written and communication skills
