The Role The purpose of this role is to ensure that supply of Components (Base Oils, Additives) is planned in the most effective and efficient manner to deliver these aims. As such, the incumbent has the task of ongoing change management to reconcile the changing requirements of the region/cluster and customers with the operational efficiency and effectiveness of material/component supply.
Accountabilities
- Participate actively in T&R planning and S&OP process and where appropriate will identify and pursue OPEX and CAPEX needs.
- Support Supplier Performance and progress of COGS SPANCO deliveries and BCI/BCW on monthly basis.
- Ensure that suppliers meet agreed SLA (Suppliers' OTIF targets) to cover operational requirements and work cooperatively with suppliers to jointly deliver improvement initiatives to benefit both parties and add E2E value in the supply chain.
- Support continuous improvement of inventory holding for components across the end-to-end supply chain versus customer service. (OTIF vs DIO).
- Ensure no stock-outs of components based on DDMRP buffers and deployment per DDMRP proposed buffers plan for components
- Manage a STEM (for additives or BO) on a regional/cluster or cross-regional/cluster level and he/she is also accountable to ensure full compliance to the BCP for their portfolio authority.
- Provides insights to regional contract management team to enable potential changes to sourcing/ supply which could have financial benefit.
- Managing 11 direct and in direct reports
- Experience in leading a small to mid-size team.
- Excellent leadership skills and be able to lead a diverse team to achieve business goals across different cultural settings.
- A demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams to deliver work virtually across multiple time zones with differing work weeks due to the wide APME geographical coverage is necessary
- Demonstrated high level of accountability for actions and decisions taken in line with the Honesty and Integrity values
- Proven track record in change management and ability to embed a Can-Do and Continuous Improvement culture
- Evidence of excellent communication and senior stakeholder management skills, especially in complex business settings and in a cross-cultural virtual environment.
- Knowledge of Downstream / Global Commercial / Lubricants businesses would be an advantage.
