Perform daily database administrator tasks to monitor and ensure stable performance of the database, data replication, and backup. Develop monitoring and auto-correct tools where necessary.
Responsible for database tuning, backup and recovery, security management, database design and development, capacity planning, and responding to application owners' requests to create tables or manage access rights control to the database.
Manage data retention by performing purging and managing archived data.
Involved in continuous improvement projects such as database upgrades and migrations, database consolidation, and other improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity through cost or time savings, e.g., reducing downtime during disasters and performance improvements.
Collaborate closely with multiple teams and support multiple projects simultaneously.
Support the factory after office hours if required and perform system maintenance during major public holidays when the factory is shut down.
Expected salary:5000 – 6000 per month
