Job Duties and QualificationsPrepare/review direct and indirect tax compliances for both Malaysia and Philippines covering income tax, tax estimate, transfer pricing, withholding tax, SST/VAT, & etc.
Prepare/review periodical tax return and coordinate with tax agents, advise on amendments and ensure the tax returns are in order and deadline for filing is met.
Prepare/review internal monthly corporate income tax provisions, quarterly cash tax forecasts, effective rate forecasts and SOX testing.
Support company tax audit and timely resolution of other tax controversy matters.
Advise and attend to queries from stakeholders/business partners where required.
Communicate and liaise with tax authorities on all tax matters for the Group and ensure that all matters are resolved in a timely manner.
Keep abreast of latest tax developments/updates and analyze the implications to the business.
Other ad-hoc assignments/duties as required.
RequirementsGood understanding of Malaysia tax rules, regulations and practices.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Knowledge in Philippines taxation is an added advantage.
Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
